friday giveaway with finnberry

Breakfast is our favourite meal of the day, mostly because on really, really special days we are free to lie in bed a little longer and devour in bed.

Rare as that is, we are still firm believers that it is the most important meal of the day and should therefore be the healthiest and most tasty.

Reaching for that same cereal though can become a little monotonous that's why when we stumbled on Finnberry we were tickled pink to discover their fabulous berry powders.

The wild nordic super berries come from unpolluted nordic forests, which we love, bringing benefits to your health. just a teaspoon of the 100% natural, healthy and nutritious berry powders offer the same vitamins and minerals as a handful of fresh berries. they're also an excellent source of fibre and antioxidants. this is why our top notch berry powders and dried berries are an excellent addition to your smoothie, yoghurt or cereal.

To WIN a 4 x 100 gm bundle of these antioxidant power powders (containing their best selling Finnberry bilberry powder 100g (wild cousin to the cultivated blueberry), Finnberry lingonberry powder 100g, Finnberry sea buckthorn powder 100g and Finnberry wild cranberry powder 100g)  simply ENTER your email address to sign up to our newsletter.

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • sweetener if required

  • 2 cups soy (or other!) yogurt

to make this layered breakfast or snack dish, you need three cups. In the first you mix the chia seeds, the plant milk and the vanilla extract and set them aside to thicken. stir this mixture from time to time so it turns out smooth.

in the second cup you mix 1 cup of soy yogurt with the cranberry powder (and some sweetener) and in the last come 1 cup of soy yogurt with the lingonberry powder (and some sweetener). now pour them in a glass in turns and this way you’ll get a pretty, pink layered chia parfait that is filled with lots of vitamins and plant proteins! recipe by our brand ambassador, Very Berry Lottie (www.lottieslittlekitchen.weebly.com)
